  • Bring Annotated Bibliography worksheet to class this week
  • Bring Independent Reading book to class (Remember: Constructed Responses on the weekly quiz will be in reference to your Independent Reading.  Please begin reading on your own)
Tuesday and Wednesday, January 10 and 11
Classwork:
  • Do Now: Personal Log
  • Then: Introduce Google Scholar search method
  • After: Search for two more sources  using Google Scholar
  • Next: Finding MLA information with EasyBib and Citation Machine
  • Finish: Create GoogleDoc of Annotated Bibliography (time-permitting)
Homework:
  • Finish finding 3 sources (if not finished in class)
  • Write down what three sub-topics might be for your topic
  • Bring Annotated Bibliography worksheet to class
Thursday and Friday, January 12 and 13
Classwork:
  • Do Now: Personal Log
  • Then: MLA documentation of websites
  • After: Polishing the GoogleDocs Annotated Bibliography
  • Next: Review sub-topics (a.k.a. prongs or main points)
  • Then: Creating the Thesis Statement
