  5. Read/Listen: William Carlos Williams' Spring and All (p. 665)
  6. After: Analysis of Spring and All 
Homework:
  • Continue scanning your three songs from class for: symbolism, imagery, figures of speech
  • Object Poem Draft 2 Requirements:
  1. Typed, name/period/date/Object Poem at top-left
  2. Title (DO NOT REVEAL THE OBJECT'S NAME IN THE TITLE)
  3. Speaker must be object/plant (DO NOT REVEAL THE OBJECT'S NAME IN THE POEM)
  4. At least 8 lines, 2 stanzas
  5. must include: figurative language, rhyme, symbolism, imagery (to Exceed, include some of the other devices we've discussed or that you know)
  6. skip a line at the end and reveal what the object is
  7. Due by 2:15 on Friday
  • Bring 3 songs' lyrics to next class
