  1. Typed, name/period/date at top-left
  2. Title (DO NOT REVEAL THE OBJECT'S NAME IN THE TITLE)
  3. Speaker must be object/plant (DO NOT REVEAL THE OBJECT'S NAME IN THE POEM)
  4. At least 8 lines, 2 stanzas (no more than 20lines, 4 stanzas)
  5. must include: figurative language, rhyme, alliteration
  6. skip a line at the end and reveal what the object is
  7. Due in class on Tuesday/Wednesday
  • Bring Independent Reading Book to next class.
