1. Do Now: How has learning about sleep changed your outlook on the amount of sleep you are getting?
2. Talk about Homeroom Zombies Article and turn in your entry slip responses.
3. Introduce Chapter 3 on Ecology and handout the new purple learning log.
**Honors: Given Science Fair information and a proposal due date of Sept. 7th Need one full paragraph describing the experiment. Resources available in my room for ideas and please check out the PDF file that is under the science fair link.
Tuesday (8/31) and Wednesday (9/1)
1. Do Now: Describe what other living organisms you have interacted with today. Have these interactions been helpful? Explain
2. Cornell notes on Chapter 3 Sections 1 and 2.
3. Chapter 3 work pages for 3.1 and 3.2 given. There is time in class to work on these however what ever is not finished is homework to be turned in the next class period!
Thursday (9/2) and Friday (9/3)
1. Do Now: What is the difference between a food web and food chain?
2. Learning log check for your do nows and the 3.1 and 3.2 work.
3. Correct 3.1 and 3.2
4. Overview of food chains and food webs followed by a lab activity called Living and Eating on the Web!
5. Homework for the long Weekend! Ciguatera Reading and interactive assignment. **Honors needs to work on Science fair proposal.
